6cc9d77c78 ovs-ofctl: Avoid unnecessary flow replacement in "replace-flows" command.
The ovs-ofctl "diff-flows" and "replace-flows" command compare the flows
in two flow tables. Until now, the "replace-flows" command has considered
certain almost meaningless differences related to the version of OpenFlow
used to add a flow as significant, which caused it to replace a flow by an
identical-in-practice version, e.g. in the following, the "replace-flows"
command prints a FLOW_MOD that adds the flow that was already added
previously:

    $ cat > flows
    actions=resubmit(,1)
    $ ovs-vsctl add-br br0
    $ ovs-ofctl del-flows br0
    $ ovs-ofctl add-flows br0 flows
    $ ovs-ofctl -vvconn replace-flows br0 flows 2>&1 | grep FLOW_MOD

Re-adding an existing flow has some effects, for example, it resets the
flow's duration, so it's better to avoid it.

This commit fixes the problem using the same trick previously used for a
similar problem with the "diff-flows" command, which was fixed in commit
98f7f427bf ("ovs-ofctl: Avoid printing false differences on "ovs-ofctl
diff-flows".").

1b3758c36e ovs-ofctl: New option "--no-stats" for "ovs-ofctl dump-flows".
It's pretty common to want to omit statistics from output, to make it
easier to read. This commit adds an ovs-ofctl option to make that easy.

A lot of the OVS internal tests could use this, too, in place of
ofctl_strip. This commit adopts it for a subset.

209aa4ad13 ovs-ofctl: Avoid read overrun in ofperr_decode_msg().
vconn_add_bundle_error() was keeping at most 64 bytes of an OpenFlow
error message, then it was passing it to ofperr_decode_msg(), which assumed
that the full message was available. This led to a buffer overread.
There's no good reason why it was only keeping the first 64 bytes, so this
commit changes it to keep the whole error message, sidestepping the
problem.

struct vconn_bundle_error only existed for this special case, so remove it
in favor of a chain of ofpbufs.

50f96b10e1 Support accepting and displaying port names in OVS tools.
Until now, most ovs-ofctl commands have not accepted names for ports, only
numbers, and have not been able to display port names either. It's a lot
easier for users if they can use and see meaningful names instead of
arbitrary numbers. This commit adds that support.

For backward compatibility, only interactive ovs-ofctl commands by default
display port names; to display them in scripts, use the new --names
option.

fd13c6b549 Fix format specifier technicalities.
Various printf() format specifiers in the tree had minor technical issues
which the Mac OS build reported, e.g. here:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/archive.travis-ci.org/jobs/208718342/log.txt

These tend to fall into two categories of harmless warnings:

1. Wrong width for types that are all promoted to 'int'. For example,
both uint8_t and uint16_t are both promoted to 'int' as part of a call
to printf(), but using PRIu8 for a uint16_t causes a warning.

2. Wrong format specifier for type promoted to 'int' due to arithmetic.
For example, if 'x' is a uint8_t, then x >> 1 has type 'int' due to
C's promotion rules, so the correct format specifier is %d and using
PRIu8 will cause a warning.

This commit fixes the warnings. I didn't see anything that rose to the
level of a bug.

These warnings only showed up on Mac OS X because of differences in the
format specifiers that Mac OS uses for PRI*.

f0fb825a37 Add support for 802.1ad (QinQ tunneling)
Flow key handling changes:
 - Add VLAN header array in struct flow, to record multiple 802.1q VLAN
   headers.
 - Add dpif multi-VLAN capability probing. If datapath supports
   multi-VLAN, increase the maximum depth of nested OVS_KEY_ATTR_ENCAP.

Refactor VLAN handling in dpif-xlate:
 - Introduce 'xvlan' to track VLAN stack during flow processing.
 - Input and output VLAN translation according to the xbundle type.

Push VLAN action support:
 - Allow ethertype 0x88a8 in VLAN headers and push_vlan action.
 - Support push_vlan on dot1q packets.

Use other_config:vlan-limit in table Open_vSwitch to limit maximum VLANs
that can be matched. This allows us to preserve backwards compatibility.

Add test cases for VLAN depth limit, Multi-VLAN actions and QinQ VLAN
handling

5c7c16d896 ofproto: Add ref counting for variable length mf_fields.
Currently, a controller may potentially trigger a segmentation fault if it
accidentally removes a TLV mapping that is still used by an active flow.
To resolve this issue, in this patch, we maintain reference counting for each
dynamically allocated variable length mf_fields, so that vswitchd can use this
information to properly remove a TLV mapping, and to return an error if the
controller tries to remove a TLV mapping that is still used by any active flow.

To keep track of the usage of tun_metadata for each flow, two 'uint64_t'
bitmaps are introduce for the flow match and flow action respectively. We use
'uint64_t' as a bitmap since the 64 geneve TLV tunnel metadata are the only
available variable length mf_fields for now. We shall adopt general bitmap when
more variable length mf_fields are introduced. The bitmaps are configured
during the flow decoding process, and vswitchd use these bitmaps to increase or
decrease the ref counting when the flow is created or deleted.

67210a5510 lib: Check match and action prerequisities with 'match'.
Supply the match mask to prerequisities checking when available. This
allows checking for zero-valued matches. Non-zero valued matches
imply the presense of corresponding mask bits, but for zero valued
matches we must explicitly check the mask, too.

This is required now only for conntrack validity checking due to the
conntrack state having and 'invalid' bit, but not 'valid' bit. One
way to match an valid conntrack state is to match on the 'tracked' bit
being one and 'invalid' bit being zero. The latter requires the
corresponding mask bit be verified.

04f48a68c4 ofp-actions: Fix variable length meta-flow OXMs.
Previously, if a flow action that involves a tunnel metadata meta-flow
field is dumped from vswitchd, the replied field length in the OXM header
is filled with the maximum possible field length, instead of the length
configured in the tunnel TLV mapping table. To solve this issue, this patch
introduces the following changes.

In order to maintain the correct length of variable length mf_fields (i.e.
tun_metadata), this patch creates a per-switch based map (struct vl_mff_map)
that hosts the variable length mf_fields. This map is updated when a
controller adds/deletes tlv-mapping entries to/from a switch. Although the
per-swtch based vl_mff_map only hosts tun_metadata for now, it is able to
support new variable length mf_fields in the future.

With this commit, when a switch decodes a flow action with mf_field, the switch
firstly looks up the global mf_fields map to identify the mf_field type. For
the variable length mf_fields, the switch uses the vl_mff_map to get the
configured mf_field entries. By lookig up vl_mff_map, the switch can check
if the added flow action access beyond the configured size of a variable
length mf_field, and the switch reports an ofperr if the controller adds a flow
with unmapped variable length mf_field. Later on, when a controller request
flows from the switch, with the per-switch based mf_fields, the switch will
encode the OXM header with correct length for variable length mf_fields.

To use the vl_mff_map for decoding flow actions, extract-ofp-actions is
updated to pass the vl_mff_map to the required action decoding functions.
Also, a new error code is introduced to identify a flow with an invalid
variable length mf_field. Moreover, a testcase is added to prevent future
regressions.

Committer notes:
 - Factor out common code
 - Style fixups
 - Rename OFPERR_NXFMFC_INVALID_VL_MFF -> OFPERR_NXFMFC_INVALID_TLV_FIELD

140f36ba46 ofproto: Fix crash on flow monitor request with tun_metadata.
nx_put_match() needs a non-NULL tunnel metadata table, otherwise it will
crash if a flow matches on tunnel metadata.

This wasn't handled in ofputil_append_flow_update(), causing a crash
when the controller sent a flow monitor request.

To fix the problem, this commit changes ofputil_append_flow_update() to
behave like ofputil_append_flow_stats_reply().
Since ofputil_append_flow_update() now needs to temporarily modify the
match, this commits also embeds 'struct match' into 'struct
ofputil_flow_update', to be safer. This is more similar to
'struct ofputil_flow_stats'.

A regression test is added and a comment is updated in ovs-ofctl.c

8d8ab6c2d5 tun-metadata: Manage tunnel TLV mapping table on a per-bridge basis.
When using tunnel TLVs (at the moment, this means Geneve options), a
controller must first map the class and type onto an appropriate OXM
field so that it can be used in OVS flow operations. This table is
managed using OpenFlow extensions.

The original code that added support for TLVs made the mapping table
global as a simplification. However, this is not really logically
correct as the OpenFlow management commands are operating on a per-bridge
basis. This removes the original limitation to make the table per-bridge.

One nice result of this change is that it is generally clearer whether
the tunnel metadata is in datapath or OpenFlow format. Rather than
allowing ad-hoc format changes and trying to handle both formats in the
tunnel metadata functions, the format is more clearly separated by function.
Datapaths (both kernel and userspace) use datapath format and it is not
changed during the upcall process. At the beginning of action translation,
tunnel metadata is converted to OpenFlow format and flows and wildcards
are translated back at the end of the process.

As an additional benefit, this change improves performance in some flow
setup situations by keeping the tunnel metadata in the original packet
format in more cases. This helps when copies need to be made as the amount
of data touched is only what is present in the packet rather than the
maximum amount of metadata supported.

6dd3c787f5 ofproto: Support packet_outs in bundles.
Add support for OFPT_PACKET_OUT messages in bundles.

While ovs-ofctl already has a packet-out command, we did not have a
string parser for it, as the parsing was done directly from command
line arguments.

This patch adds the string parser for packet-out messages, adds
support for it into the 'ovs-ofctl packet-out' command, and adds a new
ofctl/packet-out ovs-appctl command that can be used when ovs-ofctl is
used as a flow monitor. The old 'ovs-ofctl packet-out syntax is
deprecated' and will be removed in a later OVS release.

The new packet-out parser is further supported with the ovs-ofctl
bundle command, which allows bundles to mix flow mods, group mods and
packet-out messages. Also the packet-outs in bundles are only
executed if the whole bundle is successful. A failing packet-out
translation may also make the whole bundle to fail.

5bc39e9ac1 ovs-ofctl: Extract tunnel metadata correctly when sorting flows.
When flow fields are sorted before dumping in ovs-ofctl, each
significant field is extracted for sorting. However, in the case of
tunnel metadata a mapping table is necessary to know where each
field begins and ends. This information is current stripped off before
fetching the field data and returned field is simply zeroed. This
makes sorting based on tunnel metadata non-deterministic.

We have the tunnel allocation stored in match metadata with each
flow, so we can simply extract the data from there rather than
trying to build and populate a global mapping table.

f681214030 ovs-ofctl: Fix crash with replace-flows and diff-flows with tunnel metadata.
When flows are read by ovs-ofctl (either from a switch or a file),
tunnel metadata space is dynamically allocated since there isn't a
preset table. This works well for single flows but doesn't handle
groups of flows that must be compared to each other. In this case,
each flow will have its own independent allocation making comparisons
meaningless.

Even worse is that when these matches are later serialized (either
for display or in NXM format), the metadata allocation has been
stripped off of the matches. The serialization code then attempts to
use the global table, which is also not available, leading to a
dereference of a NULL pointer.

Solving this problem requires building an overall metadata table.
Since we don't know the maximum size of a field (particularly for
flows read from a file), it's necessary to do this in two passes.
The first pass records the maximum size for each field as well as
stores the received matches. The second pass creates a metadata
table based on the sizes, adjusts the match layout based on the new
allocation, and then replays the stored matches for comparison.
Later serialization will used the generated table to output the
flows.

25070e045e ofproto: Support group mods in bundles.
Allow adding group mods in OpenFlow bundles. Group mods are executed
atomically with any flow mods in the same bundle. Mods are executed
in order, so that groups appearing in flow actions need to be inserted
in to the bundle before the dependent flow mods.

ovs-ofctl is enhanced to allow the '--bundle' option with group mod
commands. add-groups file format is enhanced to allow each line to be
preceded by one of the keywords "add", "modify", "delete",
"add_or_mod", "insert_bucket", or "remove_bucket".

ovs-ofctl also has a new "bundle" command that reads a file in which
each line contains one flow mod or group mod, and then executes them
all as a single atomic bundle transaction.

506c1ddb34 vconn: Better bundle error management.
It is possible that a bundle add message fails, but the following
commit succeeds, since the message was not added to the bundle. Make
ovs-ofctl fail also in these cases.

Also, the commit should not be sent if any of the bundled messages
failed. To make sure all the errors are received before the commit is
sent, a barrier is required before sending the commit message.

Finally, make vconn collect bundle errors into a list instead of
calling a callback. This makes bundle error management simpler.

88b87a3612 ofproto: Add relaxed group_mod command ADD_OR_MOD
This patch adds support for a new Group Mod command OFPGC_ADD_OR_MOD to
OVS for all OpenFlow versions that support groups (OF11 and higher).
The new ADD_OR_MOD creates a group that does not yet exist (like ADD)
and modifies an existing group (like MODIFY).

Rational: In OpenFlow 1.x the Group Mod commands OFPGC_ADD and
OFPGC_MODIFY have strict semantics: ADD fails if the group exists,
while MODIFY fails if the group does not exist. This requires a
controller to exactly know the state of the switch when programming a
group in order not run the risk of getting an OFP Error message in
response. This is hard to achieve and maintain at all times in view of
possible switch and controller restarts or other connection losses
between switch and controller.

Due to the un-acknowledged nature of the Group Mod message programming
groups safely and efficiently at the same time is virtually impossible
as the controller has to either query the existence of the group prior
to each Group Mod message or to insert a Barrier Request/Reply after
every group to be sure that no Error can be received at a later stage
and require a complicated roll-back of any dependent actions taken
between the failed Group Mod and the Error.

In the ovs-ofctl command line the ADD_OR_MOD command is made available
through the new option --may-create in the mod-group command:

$ ovs-ofctl -Oopenflow13 del-groups br-int group_id=100

fb8f22c186 ipfix: Add support for exporting ipfix statistics.
It is meaningful for user to check the stats of IPFIX.
Using IPFIX stats, user can know how much flows the system
can support. It is also can be used for performance check
of IPFIX.

IPFIX stats is added for per IPFIX exporter. If bridge IPFIX is
enabled on the bridge, the whole bridge will have one exporter.
For flow IPFIX, the system keeps per id (column in
Flow_Sample_Collector_Set) per exporter.

1) Add 'ovs-ofctl dump-ipfix-bridge SWITCH' to export IPFIX stats of
   the bridge which enable bridge IPFIX. The output format:
   NXST_IPFIX_BRIDGE reply (xid=0x2):

             ipv6 ok=0, tx pkts=0
             pkts errs=0, ipv4 errs=0, ipv6 errs=0, tx errs=0

flows: the number of total flow records, including those exported.
current flows: the number of current flow records cached.
sampled pkts: Successfully sampled packet count.
ipv4 ok: successfully sampled IPv4 flow packet count.
ipv6 ok: Successfully sampled IPv6 flow packet count.
tx pkts: the count of IPFIX exported packets sent to the collector(s).
pkts errs: count of packets failed when sampling, maybe not supported or other error.

ef7b593bdd ovs-ofctl: Declare / set up colors for command output.
OVS_COLORS environment variable is parsed to extract user-defined
preferences regarding colors (this is used to set up a color theme, not
to replace the `--color` option for activating color output).

The string should be of a format similar to LS_COLORS or GREP_COLORS,
with available colors being as follows:

* ac: action field
* dr: drop keyword
* le: learn keyword
* pm: parameters receiving attributes
* pr: keyword having parenthesis
* sp: some special keywords
* vl: lone values with no parameter name

For color whose idendifier does not appear in the string, the default
hardcoded value is used instead.

As an example, setting OVS_COLORS to the following string is equivalent
to using the default values:

20174b7461 ovs-ofctl: Add option for color output to dump-flows command.
Add an option to ovs-ofctl utility so as to obtain colorized output in
tty, for easier reading. Currently, only the dump-flows command supports
colors.

A new `--color` option has been added to ovs-ofctl so as to indicate
whether color markers should be used or not. It can be set to `always`
(force colors), `never` (no colors) or `auto` (use colors only if output
is a tty). If provided without any value, it is the same as `auto`. If
the option is not provided at all, colors are disabled by default.

Examples:
This first call will output colorized flows:

    ovs-ofctl dump-flows br0 --color=always

These two calls will produce colorized output on a tty, but they will
not use color markers if the output is redirected to a file or piped
into another command:

    ovs-ofctl dump-flows br0 --color=auto
    ovs-ofctl dump-flows br0 --color

These two calls will not use color markers:

    ovs-ofctl dump-flows br0 --color=never
    ovs-ofctl dump-flows br0

The result of this option is stored into a variable which is to be
forwarded (in next commits) as a function argument until it reaches the
functions that print the elements of the flows.
