67e8c1ac31 rstp: Add 'rstp-admin-p2p-mac' and 'rstp-admin-port-state' setters.
'rstp-admin-port-state' is the Administrative Bridge Port state
variable defined in the 802.1D-2004 standard. It can be set to
include or exclude a port from the active topology by management
(section 7.4).

operPointToPointMAC and 'rstp-admin-p2p-mac' are a pair of parameters
that permit inspection of, and control over, the administrative and
operational state of the point-to-point status of the MAC entity by
the MAC Relay Entity. adminPointToPointMAC can be set by management
and its value is reflected on operPointToPointMAC.

a36de779d7 openvswitch: Userspace tunneling.
Following patch adds support for userspace tunneling. Tunneling
needs three more component first is routing table which is configured by
caching kernel routes and second is ARP cache which build automatically
by snooping arp. And third is tunnel protocol table which list all
listening protocols which is populated by vswitchd as tunnel ports
are added. GRE and VXLAN protocol support is added in this patch.

Tunneling works as follows:
On packet receive vswitchd check if this packet is targeted to tunnel
port. If it is then vswitchd inserts tunnel pop action which pops
header and sends packet to tunnel port.
On packet xmit rather than generating Set tunnel action it generate
tunnel push action which has tunnel header data. datapath can use
tunnel-push action data to generate header for each packet and
forward this packet to output port. Since tunnel-push action
contains most of packet header vswitchd needs to lookup routing
table and arp table to build this action.

A coworker came by yesterday with a question about IPFIX in Open vSwitch.
I did not know the answer, so I read the documentation. The documentation
was harder to understand than necessary. This change should make it easier

and grouping together the columns that apply only to one form of
configuration.

5aca3322a1 ovs-vswitchd: Fix high cpu utilization when acquire idl lock fails.
When ovs-vswitchd fails to acquire the ovsdb idl lock (either due to
contention or due to invalid database path), ovs-vswitchd will spin
on the global connectivity sequence number and consume 100% cpu.
This is in that the local copy is different to the global sequence
number and never updated when ovsdb idl is not locked.

To fix this issue, this commit makes ovs-vswitchd not checking the
global connectivity sequence number in that situation.

ef31e854e7 vswitch.ovsschema: Correct schema version number.
Commit 3e5aeeb581faf7 (bridge: Keep bond active slave selection across OVS

the major version number should only be incremented for incompatible schema
changes, ones that are likely to break software that interacts with the
schema. The change in question only added a column to a table, so it is
not an incompatible change. Therefore, this commit changes the schema
version number to 7.10.0, indicating a compatible change.

3e5aeeb581 bridge: Keep bond active slave selection across OVS restart
Whenever OVS restarts, it pseudo-randomly picks an interface
of a bond port to be the active slave. This can cause traffic
disruption in case the upstream switch does not support LACP, or
in case of multi-chassis switches that do not support mLACP.

This patch helps the situation by always record the last active
slave into ovsdb. When OVS restarts, the stored last active slave
has the highest priority to be selected again. In case this interface
is available, due to configuration changes or being offline, OVS then
consider other interfaces with the bond as it does today.

In a nutshell, this patch makes the active slave selection stickier
across OVS restart.

ba8ec11566 bridge: Fix bug where IDL wakeup causes 100% CPU.
Commit 9c537baf613a16e (bridge: Refactor the stats and status update.)
inadvertently changed the way that the status transaction is destroyed,
which could cause the main thread to constantly wake up.

The bug occurs when ovsdb_idl_txn_commit() returns TXN_INCOMPLETE and
there are no further changes to connectivity or 'status_txn_try_again'.

- ovsdb_idl_run() receives the transaction reply and updates the
  transaction status to TXN_SUCCESS.
- status_update_wait() detects that the transaction is in progress, and
the status is TXN_SUCCESS so wakes up the main thread immediately.
- run_status_update() is meant to destroy the transaction now that it is
finished, however the logic is never run because there were no changes.
- Repeat the wakeup every time the main loop runs.

This patch fixes the behaviour by ensuring that ovsdb_idl_txn_commit()
gets a chance to run whenever there is an ongoing status transaction.

Bug was found by unloading and reloading the kernel module, then
immediately restarting ovs-vswitchd.

fceef20952 dpctl: add ovs-appctl dpctl/* commands to talk to dpif-netdev
This commit introduces multiple appctl commands (dpctl/*)

They are needed to interact with userspace datapaths (dpif-netdev), because the
ovs-dpctl command runs in a separate process and cannot see the userspace
datapaths inside vswitchd.

This change moves most of the code of utilities/ovs-dpctl.c in lib/dpctl.c.

Both the ovs-dpctl command and the ovs-appctl dpctl/* commands make calls to
lib/dpctl.c functions, to interact with datapaths.

The code from utilities/ovs-dpctl.c has been moved to lib/dpctl.c and has been
changed for different reasons:
   - An exit() call in the old code made perfectly sense. Now (since the code
can be run inside vswitchd) it would terminate the daemon. Same reasoning
can be applied to ovs_fatal_*() calls.
   - The lib/dpctl.c code _should_ not leak memory.
   - All the print* have been replaced with a function pointer provided by the
caller, since this code can be run in the ovs-dpctl process (in which
case we need to print to stdout) or in response to a unixctl request (and
in this case we need to send everything through a socket, using JSON
     encapsulation).

The syntax is
   ovs-appctl dpctl/(COMMAND) [OPTIONS] [PARAMETERS]
while the ovs-dpctl syntax (which _should_ remain the same after this change)
is
   ovs-dpctl [OPTIONS] (COMMAND) [PARAMETERS]

08fdcc1205 ofproto-dpif: Add mcast snooping db show and flush cmds
This patch adds the command 'ovs-appctl mdb/show bridge'
to show learned groups on a bridge from the multicast
snooping database.

It also adds the command 'ovs-appctl mdb/flush [bridge]'
to flush learned groups on a bridge or on all bridges.

c1fc1411d2 datapath: Add support for Geneve tunneling.
This adds support for Geneve - Generic Network Virtualization
Encapsulation. The protocol is documented at
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-gross-geneve-00

The kernel implementation is completely agnostic to the options
that are in use and can handle newly defined options without
further work. It does this by simply matching on a byte array
of options and allowing userspace to setup flows on this array.

Userspace currently implements only support for basic version of
Geneve. It can work with the base header (including the VNI) and
is capable of parsing options but does not currently support any
particular option definitions. Over time, the intention is to
allow options to be matched through OpenFlow without requiring
explicit support in OVS userspace.

15c9fbd8f2 bridge: Make ovs-vswitchd run again if status_txn commit fails.
This commit adds logic that checks the return value of status_txn
transaction and runs the update again if the transaction fails
(transaction status is not 'TXN_SUCCESS', 'TXN_UNCHANGED', or
'TXN_INCOMPLETE').

To keep the code simple, the re-run of update on transaction failure
will extracts the status from all interfaces, rather than just those
that have status change. Since the transaction failure is considered
to be very rare, such overhead is deemed to be affordable.

8f5514fe7c ofproto: Add separate functions for checking bfd/cfm status change.
Currently, ofproto_port_get_bfd/cfm_status() is used to check the
bfd/cfm status change and query the status change. Users decide
what to do with the filled status struct based on the return value
of the funciton. Such design is confusing and makes the caller
code hard to read.

This commit breaks the function into a status change check function
and a status query function, so that they become easier to read and
use.
